Access 2 Chichester Compact Agreement

The Compact Agreement is an agreement between the University of Chichester and schools/colleges which guarantees applicants, who meet our criteria, a standard offer or an interview for a place on their chosen course. 

Our Outreach team will also provide students with a single point of contact for information, advice and guidance through the application process. In addition, the following events are open to students, parents, teachers and advisers:

  • Talks and workshops to support the application process and student finance - can be delivered in school/college
  • Subject Taster Days and Events at the University with a focus on the UCAS process
  • Information Evening for parents at the University - talks provided by the Outreach team

Access 2 Chichester Extra

Students who meet the one or more following criteria will be eligible for our Access 2 Chichester Extra Compact Agreement: 

  • Be first in their family to go to university 
  • Be in receipt of a 16-19 college bursary
  • Have caring responsibilities 
  • Be a care leaver
  • Had a disrupted pattern of education
  • Difficult family circumstances
  • Black and Minority Ethnic (BME)

Access 2 Chichester Extra Students receive the support detailed above plus priority access to: 

  • EPQ Workshops
  • One-to-one support with writing the personal statement
  • Opportunity for mock interview support via Skype
  • Compact Welcome Day supported by Students' Union for students starting in 2018
