as Chi Uni Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy is here for the benefit of all, students and staff, those of all faiths and none. It's an open space for those with a faith who want to celebrate it as well as for those with their doubts who want to question it. For those who are just looking and those who need somewhere neutral to hang out.  It is for those who are experiencing difficulties and maybe don’t know where to start to get help.  It is confidential, non judgmental and compassionate.

Services

There are regular services on both campuses.  You can find them on the What’s On page.

Prayer, Meditation and Personal Reflection

There are rooms available on both campuses for prayer or quiet meditation.

Bishop Otter Campus

The Chapel at Bishop Otter Campus is available for prayer and personal reflection from 8am to 9am and 5pm to 6pm each week day. In addition there is a quiet room in the left hand corner of the chapel is also designated as a quiet room.  Prayer mats are available.

Bognor Regis Campus

The Quiet Room at Bognor Regis Campus is also available for prayer, meditation and personal reflection. Prayer mats are available. The room is located next to the SU office near the MII bar and cafeteria.  There is a code needed to access the room, if you email me I will send it to you.

Looking for a local Church, place of prayer, worship or meetings for other faiths or beliefs?

The Chaplain knows many of the local ministers, churches and faith leaders.  He always welcomes the opportunity to talk to you about your needs and where you would feel most comfortable.
