PGCE

We offer two Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) courses prepare students to become primary teachers.

The PGCE Primary course will prepare you to teach the 5-11 age range (all primary school subjects). This is a 39 week course with 24 weeks spent in our partnership schools.

The PGCE Primary (Modern Languages) route prepares graduates who wish to become a subject specialist in schools, but who are also able to work as a classroom teacher.

Both of our PGCE courses are taught at postgraduate level and successful students will be awarded 60 Masters level credits as well as recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
