We undertake postgraduate degree supervision in a number of areas, our general research interests are related to the sociology of sport.

Dr Pike’s general research area is in the sociology of sport.  Specific topics include: physical activity and ageing; risk-taking behavior in sport; adventurous physical activity; gender issues in sport; injury, health and wellbeing in sport.
