Student Exchange

The English Department at the University has teamed up with Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia to run a student exchange programme. English Studies and English and Creative Writing students can opt to spend one or two semesters of their second year at Thompson Rivers in Kamloops. The credits they gain from courses there will then be transferred back to Chichester. There are no extra fees to pay as you will still be registered as a student in the UK. Students from Canada will be studying here, and the first are due to arrive in January 2006.

Thompson Rivers University is in central British Columbia. The English Department offers a variety of courses which match our offering here at Chichester. The University is housed on a stunning site overlooking the Thompson River and the mountains beyond. Facilities for both learning and entertainment are excellent and all our students will be housed on campus. The University has a large and well developed international department and accepts exchange students from all over the world. For further information, contact Hugh Dunkerley.
