How To Find Us

The University of Chichester is located over two campuses. Our Bishop Otter Campus in Chichester is approximately 16 miles east of Portsmouth, 35 miles west of Brighton and about 60 miles south of London.

The Bognor Regis Campus is 6 miles south east of Chichester and within walking distance of the Bognor Regis town centre and seafront.

Accessibility Maps

Railway

Chichester is approximately 1hr 35mins from London Victoria (direct route). Chichester train station is a 20 minute walk from the Chichester campus. For more information please visit National Rail Enquiries

Bognor Regis is also on the direct London Victoria and London Bridge line (approximately 1hr 45mins) The train station is a 10 minute walk away from the Bognor Regis campus. For more information please visit National Rail Enquiries

Road

There are excellent road links to both Chichester and Bognor Regis.

Car Parking

Car parking between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. During the University’s teaching year parking is restricted to vehicles displaying a valid parking permit or an authorised Visitor’s Permit. Contact Reception on (01243) 816000 for further information regarding Visitor's Permits.

There is an additional charge for overnight parking but at all other times it is free. For off campus parking you can visit off campus parking for Chichester and Bognor Regis.

Airport

Gatwick Airport has flights to all international destinations and It's approximately 1hr 15mins by road or 1hr by rail.

Heathrow Airport is the UK's busiest airport, and like Gatwick it has connections to all international locations. It is 1hr 45 mins by road. By train you will need to go into central London and change onto the Underground. Check National Rail Enquiries for details.

Southampton Airport is our closest airport at only 45 mins away by car. This airport has regular flights from all over the UK and Europe, as well as flights to some international destinations.
