At Chichester we provide you with a varied and supportive environment for learning, teaching and research.

The integrated Learning Resources Centre at the Bishop Otter Campus at Chichester has:

  • A well-stocked library with study areas for quiet study and group discussion
  • Several IT areas and wireless access throughout for laptop use
  • A stock of media equipment for loan
  • A specialist centre for multi-media design and production

At the Bognor Regis Campus the adjacent Library and IT Centre provides a similar resource and study environment.

All our centres are supported by:

  • A team of Subject Librarians and Information Assistants
  • IT Helpdesk and Media technicians

The Subject Librarians and Media Technicians work closely with the tutorial staff to provide appropriate resources and facilities for all your academic programmes.

A growing online library of ELECTRONIC RESOURCES is available for our students, staff and researchers to access from anywhere at anytime, containing a number of full text e-journals and e-book resources.

LIBRARY & IT SURVEY

405 students completed the survey. The following measures of satisfaction were received.

  • 89% satisfaction with the range of books
  • 77% satisfaction with the range of journals
  • 74% satisfaction with electronic information resources
  • 85% satisfaction with study facilities
  • 91% satisfaction with open access IT Services
  • 94% satisfaction with the Media Centre
  • 94% satisfaction with the Library Service
