Applying for Accommodation

International students have 2 options when applying for university owned accommodation. Option 1, you can apply for a room via the Admissions Portal, in June 2011. Option 2, you can fill in one of our accommodation application forms. Option 2 allows you to apply (and be guaranteed a room) up until 1st August.

Contact the Accommodation Officer (Operations) for an accommodation application form (accommodation@chi.ac.uk). Please note accommodation application forms must be received by the deadline of 1st August to secure a room.

It's important you feel happy and comfortable when living here in the United Kingdom. It is wise to remember that accommodation in the UK might be different from that which you are used to and it might take a little time to adjust to this difference. The type of accommodation you wish to stay in will depend on the length and type of course you are doing at Chichester.

Homestay Host Families

Homestay landlords are resident landlords, sometimes with children, who offer accommodation inclusive of meals and the opportunity to live as part of their family. No more than four students can stay with a host at any one time. It is a very popular option with students who are not residents in the UK and/or who may be looking to improve their English language skills.
