I joined the University in January 2010 and am part of the team with responsibility for all aspects of communication across the organisation. I work closely with academics and departmental staff to promote their activities to their peers and to the wider community, dealing directly with the public and through the media.

Before joining the University, I gained nearly six years experience in public sector PR roles across Sussex and Hampshire. This followed on from my first job where I trained as a journalist with local newspapers in Chichester. I have also sat on a national committee on public sector PR, and am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
