To mark a year and a half before the start of the London 2012 Olympics, Pete Cunningham, exercise physiologist at the University of Chichester, spoke to Spirit Fm’s Helen Catt to talk about his role as physiologist for the Royal Yachting Association, working with the Team GB Olympic sailing team.

In 2012 London will host the Olympic Games for the third time. It will also mark the return of the Paralympic Games to the country of its birth.

Ben Ainslie has won three Olympic gold medals and he is Britain's most decorated Olympic sailor. Ben is also a Honorary Fellow of the University of Chichester (2002).
