At the university of Chichester we place strong emphasis on student centred learning. We believe in applying theoretical aspects of Physical Education to a practical context, this philosophy underpins all our teaching. This means that you will spend as much time learning in the practical environment as in the classroom.

The set-up of the course has been well thought out to give a balance of practical and theory based lectures giving us the best experience possible. Current year 2 Student

Our staff team consists of both top level sport coaches and field leading physical educationalists. The staff team at Chichester all work in specialist areas including; research, coach education, sports science, consultancy, and education. This unique blend of experts believes strongly in high contact time and high staff to student ratios in order to offer the best learning experience.

Since joining the university in 2010 I have enjoyed working with a dedicated staff team that understand that there are no short cuts to excellent teaching. The way students are taught at Chichester allows them to maximise their academic and practical potential.
