Log in to the University Portal
  1. Click the green 'Login to Portia' link above
  2. Insert your network username i.e. jsmith1 (not your email address)
  3. Then your network password, and click Ok/Log In
    If your details are correct you will be taken to the Portia home page

Note: if your password has expired you will instead be automatically re-directed to the FastPass webpage, where enrolled users can use the 'Reset Password' feature, then login to Portia. If your password has expired and you have not yet enrolled on FastPass or you are still experiencing login problems, telephone the Support & Information Zone on 01243 81 (6222).

FASTPASS


FastPass can be used for the following (inc off-campus):

  • Forgotten Passwords (use the 'Reset Password' option)
  • Account Lockouts (use the 'Unlock Account' option)
  • Expired Passwords (use the 'Reset Password' option)
  • Password Changes (use the 'Change Password' option)
  • FastPass Enrollment (use the 'Enroll User' option)

Note: you must enrol with a working password before you can use any FastPass features.

New Passwords must have a minimum of 8 characters, cannot be a previously used password, and must feature 3 of the following:
• A lowercase character
• An uppercase character
• A number
• A symbol, from the following ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/
