Adam Hoskins

Assistant Conductor

Hailed as 'simply outstanding' (BBC Radio) Adam Hoskins is a young British conductor, having studied with Crispin Ward. He made his US debut in 2012 and has since conducted engagements in France, Switzerland and Austria. He has, for the last five years, conducted annually in The Channel Islands. 

Adam has worked closely with a range of orchestrators, conductors and Music Directors, including Academy Award winner Jonathan Tunick, two time Tony Award nominee Jason Carr, Anthony Halstead, Julian Kelly, Crispin Ward and Nicholas Skilbeck, with special affiliation to the Chichester Festival Theatre, for whom he has served as a Music Assistant for four of their Festival productions, including the West End transfers of Sweeney Todd and Gypsy. He also served as an Associate Music Coach on the National Tour of The King and I. 

As Music Director and Conductor, his opera credits include Carmen and Die Zauberflote, whilst his work operetta include The Gondoliers and Iolanthe. Working in Musical Theatre, his work includes Carousel, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Chris Superstar, Cats and Footloose. 

As orchestrator/arranger, he has produced numerous orchestrations, including for Rhapsody Queen and for H2 productions, which tours professional pantomime and musicals around the Middle East, and is in demand as an orchestrator of Musical Theatre. 

He serves as Musical Director for City Wall Productions, a professional chamber opera company that tours the South. He has served as Music Director for Purcell's The Fairy Queen, as well as coproducing their Introducing Series. He served as a panelist at the CASC and is Assistant Conductor at the University of Chichester, a permanent teaching post in the school of Orchestral Studies. 

He is a proud faculty member of Bullfrog Productions, a youth theatre project responsible for high quality vocational teaching and outstanding productions from their schools across Sussex and Kent.
