Marina Biancardi

About

Marina Biancardi works as an IALS support Tutor and teaches IALS classes.

On TESOL Courses Marina teaches Croatian as an unknown foreign language, and had previously also taught on a Pre-Foundation course. Marina has been an associate lecturer at the University since 2007 after graduating with BA (Hons) in History with EFL from the University in Chichester and gaining a Trinity CertTESOL.

Marina’s specific interests are development of English as a global language and the emergence of International English. Furthermore she is interested in the way International Students are perceived in different countries and how/if that influences their results.

Her other interests include Twentieth Century European History with particular reference to the question of when patriotism becomes nationalism.
