New Academic Building – Work has now been completed on a brand new academic building on Bishop Otter Campus.   The new build features extra multi-use space, a specialist IT room, a new operations room for security purposes and a new Student Union shop which is bigger, more open and more modern than the previous shop. In addition to this, the ground floor is multi-space and contains a semi-spring floor for Dance use as well as space that can be used for cinema purposes or a large lecture theatre space.

Music Building - The Chichester campus has undergone a multi-million pound redevelopment of the Music building, turning it into a three-storey state-of-the-art Music centre, guaranteeing our students a high quality learning and rehearsal environment. The ground floor features performance space and is large enough to fit a full orchestra inside. The glass folding doors can be fully opened revealing outside, which will cater for an amphitheatre and there will be hard rock practice space, which is heavily acoustically treated. Further floors feature rehearsal and teaching space.

The University has been awarded £8m to launch a new Engineering and Digital Technology Park at our Bognor Regis Campus, providing cutting edge skills to 500 students per year.  The new Engineering and Digital Technology Park will include an Institute for Sustainable Enterprise and a Centre for Digital Technology, located in a signature new building with a new prominent gateway entrance.  It enables the creation of a Research Centre for Sustainable Operations and Departments of Data Science and Advanced Engineering and Design.  These developments will work with and build on the teaching, enterprise and research of our existing Business School and our existing Media and Music departments.

Through the development of the Engineering and Digital Technology Park, the University of Chichester will deliver 500 new science, technology, engineering undergraduate and postgraduate student places per annum in Bognor Regis by 2020.  All of these students will graduate with strong sector focused employability skills and industry experience and will generate an additional £5m per annum into the local economy.

Our Bognor Regis Campus has already undergone a multi-million pound make-over, the highlights of which have been the construction of the new Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and the refurbishment of the Dome into a state-of-the-art business centre. Following the completion of our new LRC, the old library has been converted into a 150-seater lecture theatre, two science teaching rooms with support space, three general teaching rooms, and new showers and changing facilities. Our old Student Support Services building has become business incubator units where fledgling businesses can grow and expand with the help of our specialist knowledge. We have also refurbished the Assembly Hall for our Musical Theatre students to use as rehearsal space. The Mead Centre and the Science building have been demolished providing additional on-site parking. Landscaping work has also been completed across the Bognor Regis campus.  Investment has also been made to provide a more robust door entry system.
