PGCE Options

PGCE Secondary Physical Education offers quality training for those wishing to teach in the 11-18 age.

The programme is located on the Bognor Regis and Chichester campuses and is 38 weeks long with 70% of this time spent in schools. Students will have training placements in two partner schools and complete a week's training in a Key Stage 2 school.

This experience provides students with the opportunity to work alongside serving teachers, learning about the broader roles and skills of teachers and other school staff. High quality teaching, support and guidance will be provided by mentor teachers in schools and by staff from the University.
