Literary and cultural narrative

The academic team bring a vast range of experience and networks to the study, celebration and analysis of literary texts and cultural narrative. Literary and cultural narrative is also a significant employer in our region and we have partnerships with a number of groups, libraries, societies and galleries. For example all of our second year students have an option of a career oriented work placement with Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Chichester Festival Theatre or the West Sussex Record Office.

Scholars in the department have also worked with the Comics Museum/Comics Forum, French Institute (London), Heritage Lottery Fund, Victoria & Albert Museum, British Museum and the Royal Historical Society among others.
