Tailored Maths CPD

At the University of Chichester, we are adopting a different model of CPD opportunities. We are offering bespoke, in-situ development programmes for individual or clusters of schools based around your specific needs.

How does it work?

The University can offer professional development for a wide range of mathematics teaching from Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 4. Pick and choose the development you’d like to focus on and we can tailor a programme to suit you and your team. Mix and match from the following sessions:

  • Developing fluent mathematicians
  • What does good mathematical reasoning look like?
  • How do I challenge children to learn with greater depth?
  • Incorporating problem solving effectively into maths lessons
  • Task design and differentiation
  • Intelligent practice
  • Subject knowledge development (and)
  • Subject leadership and management

Can’t see the CPD you’re after? Let us know if you have a specific subject in mind and we can create a tailored programme to suit you.

How much would it cost?

Our fees are calculated based on your specific needs and are competitively priced. This is to make sure you have a flexible and cost effective way to develop your own skills and up-skill your workforce at your school. Alternatively, you can share the cost with a few teams from cluster network of schools.

Where would it be delivered?

We deliver sessions in-house at your school, local venues or within the University of Chichester itself. Contact us to discuss all the options to decide the best location for you and your team.
