International study options

We have a long tradition of working with international students and understand the needs of those studying away from their home countries and cultures. All our programmes are designed with international students in mind. We also have several programmes and academic services especially for international students:

Presessional programmes to prepare your language & academic skills so you are ready to begin your degree programme.

  • Year 1 (Level 4) combinations with International English Studies which allow you to continue to develop your English language skills at the same time as beginning your subject studies so you can complete your honours degree (in almost all our subjects) in three years.
  • Year 3 (Level 6) Top-up programmes (for those with previous study at University level in their home countries) which combine the study of Academic English and research skills along with subject content in Business English, Business Management, Finance & Accounting or Dance to allow you to study for a Chichester degree award.

A pre-master’s Programme (Leading to our MSc in International Business) for those who need additional language or academic/skills support before beginning our Masters Programme.

Additional individual language-focused tutorial support (3 hours per academic year) for all students for whom English is not a first or main working language throughout your studies with us.

Once you have applied to us, we offer our own language profiling service which may, for entry to our degree programmes, mean you do not need to re-take an IELTS test. The test can be taken in person at our Bognor Regis campus, via Skype/WeChat or, by arrangement for groups, in your home country. Please contact admissions@chi.ac.uk for more details.

We have a dedicated full-time international student advisory service to support you through your study at the University of Chichester, hear what our international students think.

We are sure you will have questions, so please get in touch. We are very happy to advise you and discuss your application.
