Overview

Progress in your career as a physical education practitioner

Our MA Sport Pedagogy and Physical Education course is specifically designed to support the career progression of practitioners currently working in, or planning to work in, sport and physical education.

The MA offers specific options for those who are entering PE professions, working within sports-related organisations or who anticipate doing so.

This part time course will give you the ability to build your learning around your current professional responsibilities.

It will accommodate individuals who have completed or anticipate completing a PGCE master’s credit in physical education.

James

MA Sport Pedagogy and Physical Education graduate and Physical Education Teacher and Teaching and Learning Coach at Itchen Sixth Form College
"I chose to study this MA as it allowed me to continue my full-time teaching commitments and apply new knowledge and understanding to my practice whilst completing assignments. The flexibility of study and assessment completion and the fact I could use my PGCE credits to assist in the completion of the course was highly attractive. I would highly recommend it especially for those looking to continue their learning and development as a teacher or those looking to progress into leadership and management roles."
