When did I graduate from the University of Chichester? 2015

What course did I do? Performing arts (Theatre Performance)

What am I doing now? Currently I work for the London Underground: when on platforms I sing the announcements and/or perform them! I was also featured on a TT programme about the tube in which a camera followed me for about 5 weeks.

What do I love about my job/artistic practice/lifestyle? It enables me to do what I love as I currently only work evenings. This allows me to do what I can on the side.

How did doing Performing Arts/Theatre at Chichester help me to do what I do now? For my interview there was 30 people and only 2 passed the role play section which I wouldn't have without my degree. I also would not have had the courage to be followed by a TV crew!

What was my favourite moment/class/project when at Chi? Solo performance: it signified for me how far I had come and was proof to me that I could complete a degree, defying anything difficulty that gets thrown at me.

What do I most miss about Chi? Honestly, as cliched as it sounds: the tutors.

My advice for anyone starting in the Theatre Department this coming year.... Even if you think you won't succeed. Keep trying because it is never impossible whatever life throws at you.
