Chichester welcomes York St John University to campus

York St John University visit

THE University of Chichester has welcomed guests from York St John University onto its campus as part of plans to share knowledge and best practice.

The friendly exchange between the two institutions was also an opportunity to discuss the University of Chichester’s 180-year anniversary celebrations, which are being hosted across 2019. Attending from York St John was Vice-Chancellor Professor Karen Stanton, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Impact Professor Andy Smith, and Executive Director of Innovation and Growth Rob Hickey.

They were met by the University of Chichester’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Jane Longmore, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Catherine Harper, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Sustainability and Enterprise) Professor Seamus Higson. As part of the visit, the guests toured the University’s Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses, before an exterior tour of the new £35million Tech Park, which is opening in September.
