Leading SEND advisor to speak at University – Tuesday 24 June

THE University of Chichester is delighted to announce that Professor Barry Carpenter OBE, pictured, will be the speaker at our annual Special Educational Needs and Disability conference.

He will present a keynote at the event, which will be held on Tuesday 24 June at Bognor Regis campus, about SEND in the 21st Century as well as a talk on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum disorders.

The conference, which runs from 10am to 4pm, is aimed at parents, local authorities, health and social care professionals interested in the current debates in SEND provision and whole school inclusive practice.

It will also feature a number of workshops on current topics in special and inclusive education, including cyber bullying and e-safety and working with traveller families and children in schools among others.
