University ranked in top 10 per cent

The results of the National Student Survey have once again proved that the University of Chichester is one of the best in the sector for student satisfaction.

Overall satisfaction is 87 per cent, three per cent above the national average, and Chichester is ranked inside the top 40 of all higher education providers in the country by the Times Higher Education Supplement. This means that for over a decade our student community has consistently rated us between 3 and 6 percentage points ahead of the sector.

The University is justifiably proud to have a reputation for excellent teaching that is intellectually stimulating and which takes place in a community of learning. For this reason we are delighted to be ranked in the top 10 per cent of the sector for 'the teaching on my course' and 'learning community'.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Jane Longmore commented: “The University of Chichester is internationally recognised as a beacon of excellent practice for high quality, student-centred higher education. I am therefore very proud of these results, particularly the references to 'dedicated staff', 'excellent teaching' and 'a strong sense of community. These characteristics are fundamental to providing an environment that prepares students to succeed academically and thrive in a global economy.”
