About

At the beginning of the Yugoslavian war, I came to live in the UK in 1992. After working in various early years settings for more than a decade, I have joined University of Chichester in 2010. Currently, I am a senior lecturer at the Institute of Education, Social and Life Sciences department. My work seeks to broaden current views on early childhood education and care (ECEC) in England with the aims to produce a more generative, ethical, and political way to enact ECEC. My research interest focuses on exploring the role of emotion in professional practices in addition to examining the gender discourses in the ECEC field.
