About
After graduating with my Geography Degree from Aberdeen University I went to live in Texas for a year. On my return, I worked in International Marketing (in the shipping industry for Maersk) and then decided to become a teacher and took my PGCE in Early Years Education. Following on from this I became a Primary School teacher for 15 years (13 of these working abroad with Service Children’s Education). I then took an MSc in Aviation Management and worked in the Business Jet and Helicopter Chartering Industry for 7 years. Finally, I returned to the field of education, first working at an FE College and then here at the University from March 2021.
