About

Dr. Onyeocha, C.E. is an innovative manufacturing and mechanical engineer with 17 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, oil & gas, and biomedical industries. He is highly skilled in modelling, problem solving, project management, decision making and system simulation. His skill sets and expertise include: failure mode & effect analysis, mechanical and manufacturing system simulation, production control strategy, continuous & process improvement, project management, lean manufacturing & quality assurance, simulation and automation.

He worked in various manufacturing companies prior to returning to academia.  He undertook his Masters and PhD theses at the Enterprise Research Centre, Dublin City University, Ireland under the supervision of Dr. John Geraghty. For his Master’s thesis he carried out research into the application of lean strategies in multitier supply chain. For his PhD thesis he conducted research into pull production control strategies for erratic demand in multi-product manufacturing systems.

His research interest is in modelling and optimisation of mechanical and manufacturing systems, supply-chain management, lean and agile manufacturing, design of efficient production control strategies and quality management systems.
