About

I have long had an interest in the health benefits we can derive from the natural environment around us, and the origins of these practices within our shared history. Having had the opportunity to run a coaching based study for my dissertation whilst at UEL, I began examining the impact upon the coaching process, when these sessions were conducted within urban green spaces.

From this piece of qualitative research, my interest in the general restorative effects of the natural environment grew, and led me to develop my ideas for a research proposal with Chichester.

I am currently seeking to develop an intervention aimed at promoting wellbeing through connection with our immediate natural environment, grounding this is the literature and primary data currently available on this growing body of research.
