Jon Rattenbury
Associate Lecturer - Fretted Instruments
About
Jon has extensive experience as a performer on fretted instruments, and as a music educator and examiner in the UK and internationally. He currently performs in duos with cellist Ivana Peranic, and with guitarist Brian Ashworth. Jon has worked as a soloist and in various ensembles, giving classical concerts, playing in musical theatre pit bands, and gigging in rock and jazz bands. He works as a music examiner for RSL, IBO, and worked as a music syllabus consultant for ABRSM. Jon completed his M.A. in music at Goldsmiths, University of London, and has interests in both historical and contemporary musicology.
