Lorna Sargent

Programme Administrator

“Programme Administrators provide a vital contribution to the student experience, supporting students throughout their degree, from 3 to 7 years … and sometimes beyond.”

Lorna graduated from University of Chichester with History BA (Hons), having previously worked on a number of research based projects, supporting vulnerable groups in West Sussex to influence and shape local services and reduce social isolation.

From 2008 Lorna has also attended a variety of residential courses from Creative Writing to Biography and non-fiction.

Lorna joined the English & Creative Writing team in 2009:

“I hope to continue postgraduate studies in the future; I am particularly interested in literary responses to the Great War, 1914-1918, how remembrance and memorialisation is influenced by and engages in new cultural expression, particularly as an increasing number of women writers enter the canon.”
