Sarah Smith

Associate Lecturer

Sarah came to the University of Chichester as an undergraduate and completed her degree in Theology and Religion in 2010 before undertaking postgraduate qualifications at the University of Bristol and the University of Nottingham.

She is now studying for her PhD at Chichester with Graeme Smith as her supervisor.

Her research examines whether the religious identity of secondary schools improves, damages or has no impact on educational outcomes.

She teaches the level 5 module ‘Major Ethical Thinkers’ which involves exploring the thought of five influential ethical thinkers of the modern and postmodern periods by reading, engaging with and discussing some of their most important works.
