Victoria Edwards

PhD Researcher/ Research Assistant – Occupational Performance Research Group

Vicky Edwards is a PhD researcher and research assistant with the Occupational Performance Research Group at the University of Chichester. Vicky completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Plymouth in Marine Sports Science where she investigated the physiological adaptions of Scuba Diving on trainee commercial divers. In 2014, she moved to the University of Chichester to do a Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiology, where she investigating the dose response of New Zealand Blackcurrant on the metabolic and physiological response during cycling. Alongside her job and studies, Vicky studies a Nutrition course with the Body Type Nutrition Academy.

  • Applied and occupational physiology
  • Nutritional and exercise physiology in elite sport
  • Nutritional and exercise physiology in the clinical population
  • Activity and nutritional monitoring within the military services
