Reflections on Holocaust Memorial Day 2023
Staff from History, Creative Writing, and Nursing at the University of Chichester collaborated to support events this Holocaust Memorial Day.
Working with local organizations, they produced and sponsored the print programme to the Chichester Festival Theatre event: "David Nott in Conversation" which, hosted by visiting professor Kate Mosse, focussed on the stories of 'Other People' and the work of the David Nott Foundation which trains medics and surgeons for humanitarian work in war and conflict zones.
Professor Hugo Frey, Director of Arts and Humanities at the University, explained: "It has been an honour to support this year's event and it is particularly significant that it reflected on how one individual has turned their life into such a powerful humanitarian project that has saved lives around the world. It is a privilege to welcome David Nott to Chichester".
