Standard Undergraduate Semester Pattern

The Standard Undergraduate Semester Pattern is agreed one year in advance by Academic Board.

Please note: there may be some variations to this pattern at programme level  e.g. attendance requirements, inclusion of a directed study (reading) week, coursework submission dates.  It is important that students check with their Programmes/Admin Office for the detailed information that applies to their course.

Non-standard Programme Dates (Including Postgraduate Courses)

These dates are also approved by Academic Board one year in advance. Academic Departments may also provide further information for their students via Academic Department notice boards / Department Moodle pages.

If students have any queries they should contact their Programme Administration Office in the first instance who can provide further information and guidance relating to programme and course requirements.  Further information is also available via Course and Academic Department web pages.

Degree Apprenticeships

Please note that due to the bespoke nature of delivery, course dates for degree apprenticeships are not included in the above information.  Please email apprenticeships@chi.ac.uk for more information.
