Graduates at Italy’s H-FARM College have been encouraged to embrace the future with courage, confidence and adaptability as they celebrated the completion of their studies.
Professor Symeon Dagkas, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chichester, travelled to H-FARM College near Venice last week to join students and their families for the Bachelor’s degrees graduation ceremony.
H-FARM College, a leading business and tech university, is an academic partner of the University of Chichester, which validates its degree programmes.
Addressing the graduates, Professor Dagkas praised the College as an “accelerator of possibilities” and encouraged students to see graduation not as an end point, but as the beginning of a new chapter.
Speaking about the challenges and opportunities facing today’s graduates, he highlighted the importance of courage, resilience and adaptability in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
He said: “The world doesn’t need perfect graduates. It needs courageous graduates who are able to adapt, to collaborate between cultures and to transform uncertainty into opportunity.”
Professor Dagkas described H-FARM College as an institution that equips students to thrive in uncertainty and turn challenges into opportunities, reflecting the entrepreneurial and forward-thinking ethos at its heart.
He said: “Your graduation is not the end of your education, it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, growth and discovery.”
