Controversial theologian considers whether Jesus was a Revolutionary

Professor Terry Eagleton is answering the question: Was Jesus a Revolutionary? in a lecture organised by the Chichester Theological Society.

One of the world’s best-known British literary and cultural theorists, Professor Eagleton, is popular for his political radicalism and his controversial writing on religion, politics and ethics.

He is the author of more than 40 academic books and is Distinguished Professor of English Literature at Lancaster University, Professor of Cultural Theory at the National University of Ireland and Distinguished Visiting Professor or English Literature at The University of Notre Dame.

All are welcome, with free entry, to the lecture in Chichester Cathedral’s Nave on Monday 29th June at 6.30pm.
