BOGNOR Regis-based workwear supplier Krowmark have been recognised for their first class customer service, taking the top award at this year’s University of Chichester sponsored Observer and Gazette Business Awards.
Krowmark were crowned Overall Business of the Year, as well as the winner of the Customer Service Award, thanks to an entry which demonstrated the company’s strong customer service ethos and the positive feedback from their customers.
Of Krowmark’s success, the judges commented: “The Customer Services award was keenly-fought this year, with several excellent entries all targeted towards this category.
“Krowmark presented their business fantastically and gave a clear indication of how they provided excellent customer service.
“This business caught the judges’ eye from the start with their fantastic application, taking in every aspect of their business.
“It was a truly impressive entry from a new entrant that the judges felt needed recognising overall, hence why Krowmark was also named Overall Business of the Year”.
A key element of Krowmark’s customer focus is feedback.
Ratings and reviews on Trust Pilot are taken very seriously and form the basis of a monthly staff competition to see who provides the best customer service as judged by the reviews.
Krowmark is a workwear company, providing specialised embroidery and print logo services.
Based in the South Bersted Business Park in Bognor Regis, the company was formed in 2005 and has always ensured that customer service is at the forefront of its operating strategies.
“We sell polo shirts, sweatshirts and fleeces, what makes our job exciting is the interaction with the customers,” said Mark Ponsford, MD of Krowmark.

Krowmark believes that part of keeping customers happy is keeping staff happy and so have adopted the Living Wage as opposed to the minimum wage, making for a happier more stable team which results in a better quality of work.
Krowmark has a number-one rating as the UK’s best workwear company on Trust Pilot.
