As a student or graduate it’s important to know what discounts and offers are available to you. This will enable you to save as much money as possible! The University of Chichester, local businesses, and travel companies offer great saving opportunities you should familiarise yourself with before starting university. Here are some of our Top Tips for saving money as a student:

- Use our FREE intercampus bus service:
This allows you to travel between our two campuses for lectures and social activities. All you need to do is show the driver you student card.

- Download student and graduate savings apps, such as, UNiDAYS and Student Beans:
This will enable you to access exclusive student deals on your favourite brands and help you save money. Remember, every penny counts when you’re a student!

- Get a FREE 16-25 Railcard when you get a Santander Student Bank Account:
Railcards are a great way of saving money if you’re a regular train user. This can help you save money on your travels, especially if you commute to university or frequently visit home. You can get a 1/3 off train fares with a 16-25 Railcard!

- Stagecoach Student Passes:
If you often travel by bus, Stagecoach’s student passes may be a great option for you! Also, it’s helpful to remember that Stagecoach have still capped single journeys at just £2.

If you’re a student in the Brighton or Worthing area with a 16-25 Railcard, you can also access unlimited train travel with weekly, monthly or quarterly discounts within the Unizone boundaries. This also allows you to explore what the surrounding areas have to offer!

- Support local businesses whilst saving money:
Chichester Cinema (New Park Road):
Get a Student Membership at Chichester Cinema for just £15 per year. This allows you to buy all film tickets for just £3.50, if you buy five tickets, you’ll get a sixth for FREE, you don’t have to pay any online booking fees, and you can attend film talks for FREE.

At our Open and Applicant Days we offer FREE parking on both our campuses. We also offer Campus Tours throughout the year is you wish to visit our campus when we’re not hosting a larger event.
On our Open Days we also give all students and their guests free drinks vouchers to spend at our SU bar.
Also, at our next Open Day on Saturday 12th October we will have free ice creams too!
