Chichester continues to drive global education with new partnership at Singapore’s ERC Institute

A PARTNERSHIP has struck between the University of Chichester and the globally-renowned ERC Institute to give students in Singapore access to leading UK education.

The agreement offers ERC undergraduates a route to complete honours degrees with the British south-coast university, which was recently named in the top-30 by the Guardian. The partnership also enables the ERC Institute to deliver a number of postgraduate business qualifications.

Chichester’s Director of Quality Standards Katie Akerman, who ratified the partnership, said: “We are delighted to partner with the ERC Institute and provide its students with a dedicated pathway to receiving a valuable UK education.

“Chichester has an international reputation as a historic seat of learning which attracts students from every corner of the world. Our learning ethos is based on research and pedagogy which helps our graduates thrive across the globe.”

The University of Chichester has been teaching for more than 180 years. Its students are also among the happiest in the UK, according to the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, which ranked it in Britain’s top-20 for student satisfaction with teaching quality.

The new partnership with the ERC Institute continues a series of global initiatives for Chichester. Hosted at its Bognor Regis campus, home to its £35miilion Tech Park, the college aims to attract 1,000 new overseas students by 2026 in engineering, computer, and business degrees.
