About

Lucy trained as a scholarship student at The Legat School of Classical Ballet, and The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary dance.

After graduating in 1998, she spent a summer furthering her training at The Merce Cunningham School in New York.

In 2000 Lucy became a founder member of The Ballet Boyz new company, George Piper Dances, travelling Europe with its South Bank Awards nominated show, Pointless.

Repertoire for the company includes Sigue by Paul Lightfoot & Sol Leon of Nederlands Dans Theatre, Truly Great Things by Charles Linehan, Tangoid by Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, and Moments of Plastic Jubilation by Michael Nunn and William Trevitt.

After a break from dancing travelling the world, Lucy settled in Portsmouth and decided to turn her hand to teaching, specialising in Ballet and Contemporary dance. As a qualified teacher for the ISTD, she has been awarded a scholarship from the Imperial Ballet faculty to prepare for the Licentiate exam, and remains in Considerable demand as a free lance teacher for schools and colleges across the south.
