- Senior Secondary School Certificate plus a recognised International Foundation Year
OR
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (Gaokao) 70% or higher

- 1 completed year at a recognised university with a final overall grade of 65% or GPA 2.7/4.0 or higher
OR
- Ambright Education Group Aptitude Scholastic Test (AST) (3 subjects required):
- AST Maths (Compulsory): 180 and
- AST English (Compulsory): 180 and
- AST Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Economics: 180
Postgraduate
4 year Bachelor's degree (Xueshi) Minimum 65% / GPA 2.7 out of 4 or 7.0/10
MPhil or PhD
The normal requirement for an MPhil is a good honours degree (First or Upper-Second class) or a relevant Masters degree. For a PhD the normal entry requirement is an MPhil.

- 4 year Bachelor degree from a recognised Hong Kong University showing the minimum award of a 2.2 Honours degree or minimum GPA of 2.4 or C or Adequate.
