Bishop Ruth Bushyager

Bishop Ruth joined the Board in October 2020, having moved to the Diocese of Chichester to become the Bishop of Horsham.  Prior to her episcopal ministry, she was the vicar of St Paul’s Dorking in Surrey, where she also served on the governing bodies of a primary and a secondary school.  Previous clergy roles have included as a Chaplain to a boarding school in Oxford, a Diocesan Area Missioner in London, and serving parishes in Abingdon and Nottingham.  Life before ordination included working as an International Policy Advisor in the Cabinet Office in Westminster. Ruth holds degrees from Bristol and Oxford universities
