The University of Chichester has been ranked 6th in the South East in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027, adding to a growing list of national accolades.
The latest results follow a series of successes for Chichester, which was named the Daily Mail’s University of the Year for teaching excellence 2025, and a Guardian top-30 institution.
The new guide highlighted the university’s educational excellence, saying Chichester “continues to impress students, ranking 12th for satisfaction with teaching quality. A strong sense of community is the defining feature at the dual-campus university.”
The guide also emphasised the university’s strength in helping students find employment as well as its links to industry, saying: “Modules teach students about CV writing, job applications and labour market insights, while partnerships with organisations such as Rolls-Royce, Goodwood and Chichester Festival Theatre provide a framework for student internships and work placements.”
