University of Chichester Sports Therapy students step up for BBC Children in Need

Our dedicated and highly skilled Sports Therapy students recently supported the BBC Children in Need Thousand Mile Challenge. They joined staff from BBC Sussex last week, as they took on the inspiring 1,000-mile, three-legged journey across the UK alongside other BBC local radio stations.

This national event united communities to raise essential funds for BBC Children in Need, improving opportunities and wellbeing for children and young people across the country.

Vicky Davis, Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science, said: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with The Society of Sports Therapists and partner universities, shining a light on the professionalism, compassion, and expertise Sports Therapists bring to every environment — from injury prevention and performance support to recovery and rehabilitation. Every mile matters — and our students are proud to play their part.”
