Matt Ng

About

Matt is a Registered Adult Nurse, graduating with distinction from the University of Southampton. He began his career within acute Older Persons Medicine as a staff nurse before progressing to the role of Practice Educator, and later Senior Practice Educator within the same specialty as well as Stroke Medicine and Neurological Rehabilitation. Matt has also had experience as a Ward Manager in Cardiology, further broadening his development.

Matt now works jointly as a Senior Practice Educator and Lecturer in Nursing, allowing him to actively bridge the gap between theory and practice. He is committed to delivering nursing education to promote high standards of care for patients. To achieve this, Matt has led on curriculum design and development, staff wellbeing and retention initiatives, and quality improvement projects.

Matt is a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
