About

Bex has worked in primary education as a Class teacher and Deputy Headteacher since 2004. She has an interest in curriculum development and has taught internationally in Singapore (UWCSEA) using the PYP (Primary Year’s Programme). Before that she worked for the Press Association and was a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy.

Bex lectures in Mathematics and Computing on BA Primary Teaching, PGCE Primary, as well as on Curriculum for the Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning support.

Interests

Bex is interested in all things EdTech and the role technology plays in the lives of children, including issues of safety and privacy. She is also interested in developments in AI for HE as well as primary education.
