Our distance-learning MA Fundraising course is the only dedicated fundraising master’s in the UK and has been built for professionals and senior leaders with a fundraising responsibility.

Course awards
- Gain a postgraduate certificate (PGCert) by completing modules totalling 60 credits.
- Gain a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) by completing modules totalling 120 credits.
- Gain a master’s by completing modules totalling 180 credits, including the 60-credit dissertation.
The Course
Develop your knowledge and understanding of fundraising principles
Our MA Fundraising course develops your knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of fundraising as well as the range of donor types.
Throughout your degree, you will study a variety of modules that cover a wide range of fundraising principles and concepts to help provide you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in your future career.

Online Learning

Teaching
Our core teaching team of experienced fundraisers deliver an up-to-date teaching programme that looks to apply knowledge in practice.
Teaching is structured to support you in applying what you have learnt, evaluating existing and new knowledge and building your confidence when creating better solutions to problems.
Online learning
Your core learning is accessed online at a time to suit you each week. There are regular opportunities to join live online and face-to-face learning groups, and access to one-to-one tutorials.
In-person learning opportunities
Each summer you are invited to join your student community on campus for an intensive week of discussion, debate and learning.
