About

Kate graduated from Rambert School and worked as a freelance dancer in Operas, Contemporary dance projects and commercial events. She worked with Lloyd Newson, David Massingham Dance, Ashley Page, Wayne McGregor and Amir Hosseinpour. She has also assisted Choreographers in ROH revival productions, most recently for Faust in 2019.

She began her interest in teaching through invitations to lead company and graduate classes throughout her professional career. Kate now teaches Ballet for BA programmes at The Place and Chichester University, with a special focus on developing ballet skills to support vocational Contemporary Dance training. Her teaching portfolio includes GCSE Dance, Silver Swans Ballet 55+ and Inclusive Dance.

Kate has an interest in somatic practices and qualified as a Biodynamic Massage therapist, working in the field of Body Psychotherapy.
