Born in 1981 in Bekabad, Uzbekistan into the family of rowing coaches which partially determined the choice of going for rowing at the age of 10, Sevara was elected as a Chairman of the class in elementary school for the leadership qualities and excellent marks.

At the age of 15 she was the youngest member of senior Uzbekistan National Rowing Team and youngest Master of Sports, International class (unified sports classification system in CIS countries) in Uzbekistan rowing at the age of 16. She was a full-time athlete of the National Rowing Team for more than ten years. She was a multi-time champion of Uzbekistan in various events including single scull, a winner and medallist at International regattas, Asian Championships, and the Asian Games, including winning Gold in the 15th Asian Games 2006 in Doha, Qatar, in the crew with younger sister.

In 1998, she received the award “Uzbekistan’s pride” from the President of Uzbekistan.

She voluntarily performed the role of English/Russian translator for the Team Manager and Head Coach at various meetings and events including International Rowing Federation (FISA) and Asian Rowing Federation (ARF) Congresses.

She has been an International Rowing Umpire in Uzbekistan since 2009 and served as a jury member at the World Cups, Asian Games and Asian Championships.

She has been a member of FISA Youth Commission since 2012 and a member of ARF Competition Committee since 2013. She was involved in the FISA development program as a Project officer, helping to run international training camps for young rowers from developing nations.

She values real friendship, family ties, honesty, humanity, intelligence and dedication. She always does her best to manage own stresses and stresses at work in a positive and calm way, to be a positive role model for co-workers and rowers as she deals with athletes helping to solve any administrative issues in their day-to-day activity. Sevara is passionate about travelling, sports, competitions environment, meeting new people and photography.
