Alan Green

Alan’s background is working in Sound for film, tv and video on a wide range of material including broadcast dramas and comedy, TV regulars and current affairs, independent feature films, ethnographic documentaries, a computer game, flight simulators, and all kinds of other audiovisual media. Alan has studied sound at NFTS and Edinburgh Napier and has been lecturing on the topic since 2010.

He says, “The sound in film, games, or other visual formats can have a profound impact but it’s hardly ever noticed. Great sound design tends to operate at a sub-conscious level and that fascinates me
